We offer counselling at educational and health centres, staging talks and meetings with the teachers involved, and we also offer educational material.

It is very important for the school to remain at the student’s side and for it to have a facilitating and active attitude. It is necessary to maintain and reinforce bonds of friendship with classmates and teachers to facilitate the child’s return to school when his/her situation has returned to normal.

We are aware of the difficulty of the role of teachers and educators, both because of their own emotional bond with the ill student, and because of the complicated nature of managing the information and companionship with the rest of the classmates and especially with the siblings of the ill child.

We are aware of the importance of making known the reality of childhood cancer and of educating and training the future adults of our society, and thus we collaborate and participate in high school and university research work.

At the same time, we offer the possibility of tutoring students, always in accordance with the university and the needs of AFANOC.
