Being a caregiver means spending most of your time in being with the sick child, accompanying them and attending to their basic needs. Over time, the caregiver can experience physical and emotional exhaustion due to the intensity and complexity of the treatment in one of the children, and little by little their quality of life will decrease.
That is why it is doubly important to take care of the caregiver. In this sense, the massages and the reflexotherapy sessions that we offer to the relatives and people of the direct environment, provide a space and a personal and unique time.
These techniques produce: relaxation, well-being, reduction of tension (physical and emotional) and regulation of some disorder (insomnia, bad digestion, etc.). With this small improvement of health, the organism rests and more energy is provided to continue in the work of caregiver. The effect of massage or reflexotherapy may be transient, but sufficient to give a new impetus to daily work.
Caregivers may underestimate the value of the care they offer. When they are taken care of, they can perceive the importance and necessity of the work they are doing.
